Creating Access Policies

1. In the Create Policy screen, provide a Title and (optional) Description for the policy and select Access Policy from the Policies dropdown. The Edit Policy screen displays.

3. Begin creating the rules of the policy by stating its scope. Use the Add button in the Scope field to describe the parameters of the policy scope. For example, if you wish to bar users from certain groups from accessing a specific dataset, you can set the following scope.

5. Specify exceptions, if any, by using the Add button in the Exceptions field to describe the parameters of the policy exception. If, for example, you wish to bar users from the groups Analyst_1 and Analyst_2 except those belonging to the Development department from accessing a specific dataset, you can specify the following exception.

7. Click Done when you are finished to save the policy and return to the Create Policy screen.

9. Click Confirm.

The newly created policy is added to the Policies screen.
