Node Instance Types
As the underlying cloud service provider for an OpenShift cluster is Google Cloud, one needs to find balanced VM instance types and use them for the deployment.
n2-standard-* instance types have been added for system and worker nodes, as detailed in the following files:
[operator-nodepool.yaml](https://docs.sw.siemens.com/documentation/external/PL20260212925461721/en-US/graph_studio/attachments/operator-nodepool.yaml.txt)[anzograph-nodepool.yaml](https://docs.sw.siemens.com/documentation/external/PL20260212925461721/en-US/graph_studio/attachments/anzograph-nodepool.yaml.txt)[dynamic-nodepool.yaml](https://docs.sw.siemens.com/documentation/external/PL20260212925461721/en-US/graph_studio/attachments/dynamic-nodepool.yaml.txt)
You can choose the types from https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/general-purpose-machines (N4, N2, N2D, N1), which are general purpose instance types.
Sample values for compute estimation are:
| Node Pool Type | Sample machineType Value |
|---|---|
Operator |
n2-standard-1 |
AnzoGraph |
n2-standard-16, n2-standard-32, n2-standard-64 |
Dynamic |
n2-standard-4 |
