Modifying the Appearance of Elements in Network Navigator
You can specify general- and graph-level settings in Network Navigator to customize the appearance of nodes and labels in your view. These settings will help you distinguish between different elements in the view, and can be accessed via the Network Navigator | Edit Settings dialog, which launches when you click the Settings
icon to the left of the Search bar.
General
Layout Type - Specifies the layout type to apply to the View. Depending on the way your network is configured and how the elements relate to each other, some layouts may be better suited for visualizing the network than others. This setting allows you to experiment and decide on the best possible layout for your network. When a layout is selected, the view is automatically updated, even without closing the dialog, as shown below.

Thus, if you decide that you prefer a different layout, you can simply select another layout and check whether this new layout is better than the previous one.
Show edge labels - When enabled, shows edge labels in the View
Show node labels - When enabled, shows node labels in the View
Graph
Graph settings allow you to modify the look of each of your network elements, including their label, color, and shape.

For example, if you select Movie from the left panel and then set Value to the color red on the right, all elements of the type Movie in your View are immediately presented in red.

General Node Settings
Label - The first field specifies the label for a selected element. By default, labels are generated from the ontology that describes the data. You can override this convention and specify a custom label instead.
Node color - The value field below the Label field specifies the color of a node
Node shape - The last field specifies the shape of a node.
If you wish to apply specific settings based on a given condition, clicking the Condition
icon to the right of these settings. Doing so launches a new set of fields that will enable you to specify a condition and the node setting to apply when that condition is met.

You can reorder a set of conditions by holding your mouse on the handle that appears to the left of a condition and dragging the condition to a different location in the set.
