Accessing the Copilot UI and Creating Queries

Once a Copilot prompt had been configured, you must deploy the Graphmart to begin using Copilot with Graph Studio.

The Copilot UI can be accessed via the following URL:

https://<hostname>.copilot/index.html#/main

The Copilot window is divided into two panes. The pane on the left shows the chat history, enabling you to go back to previous "conversations" you have had with Copilot. New conversations are created on the pane on the right. The window also displays the Copilot Name and Disclaimer indicated in the Copilot prompt configuration.

To begin a new chat, select the Graphmart for which Copilot has been configured from the dropdown provided and then click Begin Chat.

Note that Graphmarts without a prompt configured or where the user does not have permissions to see the Graphmart or the LLM connection do not display in the list provided by the dropdown.

A new chat session begins.

Enter a question about your Graphmart in the field provided and then press Enter in your keyboard.

Copilot sends the system prompt and question to the LLM, and the LLM returns a response, along with several other actions you perform based on the response.

The format of the generated response depends on the nature of the question and the LLM configuration. For example, if you request a ranking, the response returns a table, as shown below.

Clicking the Query (< >) button in the response shows the query that was executed to obtain the response.

The same table includes next actions.

If the next prompt begins with "Tell me...", the format of the response generated is free-form natural language.
